There are many ways to help our charitable work: through regular giving, a one-off donation, a gift in memory of someone, or a legacy or bequest. Thank you for any gift you make – it is so much appreciated and means we can make a real difference to people outside the Company who need our help.
Standing Order
We suggest a voluntary donation of the equivalent of quarterage to be paid monthly quarterly or annually but every little helps and regular donations can be as small or as large as you wish.
Setting up a monthly standing order to help Woolmen’s Charity is very easy.
The quickest and safest way is to do this with your bank online or by phone with your bank – which is what we recommend. Just supply them with our banking information provided below.
The Woolmen’s Company Charitable Incorporated Organisation
National Westminster Bank St Pauls Branch, Juxon House, 98 St Pauls Churchyard, London EC4M 8BU
Sort Code 60-05-11
Account Number 19696701
For international payments please use:
IBAN: GB07NWBK60051119696701 BIC: NWBKGB2L
Alternatively you can also do this by post by downloading and completing the Standing Order form and sending it either directly to your bank or to: The Clerk, 153 Leathwaite Road, London SW11 6RW
To make sure that we can identify your donation easily, please add a reference of your initial, surname and first part of your postcode e.g. GSMITH/SW14. Thank you very much.
Remember too to download and complete a Gift Aid form and send it to the Clerk at the address above with your Standing Order form if you are a UK taxpayer, so that we can reclaim an extra 25% on your behalf.
Corporate donations cannot attract Gift Aid but you may be able to claim tax relief by deducting the value of your donations from your total business profits before assessment for corporation tax.
Neither the Worshipful Company of Woolmen nor The Woolmen’s Charity are authorised to give legal, tax or financial advice. You may need to seek professional help for more complex transactions.
Thank you.
