On Thursday morning we had a marathon session in the East India Club of the Charity Committee meeting followed by the FI&GP committee meeting, followed by a discussion on membership.
We had the usual rather tired sandwiches but everyone is quite peckish and they are mostly eaten anyway. it was quite a tiring day, but eventual we finished at about 3 p.m. and I drove back home to Wales. Friday was a day at home, catching up on thank-you letters, thinking about Christmas planning and feeding the Christmas cake and Christmas puddings with brandy.
