Forever Trial and Error – Performance at The Old Bailey

Mar16 Even More Trial & Error Flyer V2Dear Liverymen

I am sure you are all aware of the Sheriffs’ & Recorder’s Fund based at the Old Bailey, a charity that supports ex-offenders back into society.  Judging by the number of companies represented at the annual AGM held at the Old Bailey every year I am sure your charitable funds already support the S&R Fund in some way.

The Fund is again presenting an entertaining performance entitled ‘Forever Trial and Error – 400 years of Newgate and The Old Bailey’.

This year the show will be presented on Mon. 13th, Tues. 14th and Wed. 15th March 2017.

Details and a ticket order form are attached.

Refreshments in The Great Hall at 6.15pm,

Performance at 7:00pm, Concludes at 8:30pm

This is a rare opportunity for members of your company with their guests to enjoy the ambiance, drama and history of the Old Bailey without getting into serious trouble.  Drinks will be served in the splendid Great Hall, and the show is performed in the atmospheric No. 1 Court.

The Show is devised by HH Judge Peter Rook QC .  Directed by Ellis Sareen & Riel Karmy-Jones QC.  Music Directed by Colin Sell with a star-studded cast drawn from the Bar, the Judiciary and the City. Featuring the cases of Marshall Hall and Jeremy Hutchinson.

The show is also fundraising for PAN Intercultural Arts, a charity which supports disaffected youths and victims of trafficking.  I do hope that you will be able to inform your members of this entertaining and great value evening.  Special playing cards will also be on sale again.
