On Friday we had an informal curry lunch on board HQS Wellington for about 30 members of the livery.
Chris Dancaster had arranged it with Mark Grove of Cook and Butler and we had a very good lunch with our guests. With so much going on in the world I could hear conversations ranging from the budget to the Malaysian aircraft to holidays to financial markets to horse-racing – just what you would expect in a divers company like the Woolmen.
And it was great to see David Selby and Oonagh again – it was David’s first trip out of the house since he became ill in June. It was a great way for everyone to get to know each other better, and it was lovely to see a real mixture of members of the livery there.
