On Friday afternoon I attended the Silent Ceremony at Guildhall to see Alderman Fiona Woolf installed as Lord Mayor.  I had been invited along with other guests, including the Under Warden John Brewer, by Alderman Peter Hewitt (Citizen and Woolmen).  As usual it was a great opportunity to see old friends and catch up with people.
